4 Step AI ("we", "us") runs this website at site.4stepai.cloud. This page explains what we collect when you visit, why we collect it, and the choices you have. The short version: we run our own first-party analytics on our own servers, we do not sell data, and we do not use advertising networks.
What we collect
- Usage analytics. Pages you view, the time of your visit, the page that referred you, your browser and device type, and your IP address. From the IP address we derive an approximate location (city and country).
- Cookies. Our analytics sets a first-party cookie (such as
mtc_id) so we can recognise a returning browser. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. - Information you send us. If you contact us through the site or by email, we receive whatever you choose to share, typically your name, email address, and message.
How we use it
- To understand how the site is used and improve its content.
- To recognise visitors who have shown interest in our services and follow up when they ask us to.
- To respond to inquiries you send us.
Where it lives
Analytics data is processed by a self-hosted installation of the open-source Mautic platform, running on servers we operate ourselves. It is not shared with, or sold to, any third party. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts and animation libraries from the cdnjs content delivery network; those providers receive the standard technical data of any web request (such as your IP address) when your browser fetches those files.
How long we keep it
Anonymous visitor analytics is reviewed and pruned periodically and is not kept longer than 12 months unless it is connected to an active business conversation. Contact inquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle the conversation and any resulting engagement.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the EU GDPR and India's DPDP Act), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to its processing. To exercise any of these, email us and we will act on it promptly.
